If you've ever wandered into The Record Finder, initial impression are 'what an amazing store, stocked to the roof!'. I beleive the reason WHY they're stocked to the roof is they probably never actually sell anything. Like most other reviewers, my issue is with their pricing. Expect to pay (or not pay) 2 to 5 times over the highest price that a comparative item has ever sold for on Discogs. I was in there today and a surf rock compilation from the 1970's was stickered with the description of 'surface wear and crackle, sold as is' - price tag, $130. That same record is being sold on discogs by 2 different Australian sellers in VG+ condition for $50. Their electronic section is quite vast, however breaks/house/trance/dnb singles from the early 2000's that command prices under $10 are priced between $25-50. I am not sure how it still exists but whilst I am glad it does, it's main purpose for me serves as a physical library of things I look at in person then go and buy elsewhere online. Staff are innatentive and leave you alone. If you do buy something they're somewhat awkward. A great example of why online shopping flourishes.

Thoroughly impressed. Excellent service, delicious coffee. Simon was very passionate and went out of his way to open my ears and blow my mind. The showrooms are glorious, and the range of audio gear on display is almost absurd. Make a full day because you'll need it!

A cool record store to go to with a great selection of albums, vintage items, and cafe. Something to get lost in for as much time as I could imagine. I wish I found out about this place ages ago.

What a service! My record collection varies from regular players to rare collectible records and I had no issue handing them over to be cleaned to Perth Vinyl.Mark is a true professional who provides a thorough cleaning service. Loud and crackly records were returned to me like new in MOFI outter sleeves.I highly recommend taking your records to Mark to get them cleaned. You won't be disappointed :)

Basically I spent the last 2weeks with them to choiche the best amplifier to properly feed my Dynaudio Special Forty’s!Simon and Tony are amazing! They know every single details about their product. They have suggest me all options possible till I ended up with a lovable PassLabs Class A amp. The had give me the most significant customer service that I ever test! Best HiFi shops in Perth no doubt!
